Head Coach, Craig Wilson, will join up with the USA National Team for the historic test match with the New Zealand Black Ferns at Soldier Field, Chicago on November 3rd. Coach Craig’s primary role will be supporting the players and coaches as a Performance Analyst. When asked about his involvement, Coach Craig commented, “First and foremost, it is a huge honor to be invited to this assembly. It is a very important time for the national team as this is essentially the start of the journey towards the Rugby World Cup in 2021. I can’t wait to get into camp and play my part in establishing the women’s national team as one of the top teams in the world.”

Coach Craig will also continue his role in developing future Eagles as a coach for the High School All-Americans and Junior All-Americans when they assemble in San Diego in December. Coach Craig added, “This is a very exciting age-group to work with as this is where future national team players are nurtured. To have a successful national team, good habits must be established early in young players. It is a privilege to be entrusted with this coaching role”. Coach Craig continued, “I am very thankful to YWRFC and the wider Yale Rugby Program for providing a structure for me to continue to develop as a coach. I will be representing Yale with pride whilst with the national team and will bring back my experiences to better serve our program.”
